FloorPlanPro ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

By using FloorPlanPro, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

1. Account Information

• Email Address: Required for email/password authentication
• Display Name: Optional name you provide
• Profile Photo: Optional from Google/Apple accounts
• Authentication Provider: The service you used to sign in
• User ID: Unique identifier for your account

2. Floor Plan and Project Data

• Property addresses and names
• GPS coordinates (optional, if you use GPS features)
• Room scans and 3D geometry data
• Floor plans and multi-floor information
• Virtual tours and furniture placements
• AI design selections and saved design images
• Optional reference photos for doors and windows
• Optional silent scan video with camera poses and detection metadata

Scan video: The Record scan video switch is shown before a house walkthrough. Video review runs on the iPhone and records no audio. These recordings and their review metadata stay in app storage, are excluded from device backup, and are not uploaded by cloud project sync. You can remove a recording in the project video review. Deleting its project or account also schedules its local removal.

Cloud projects: When you use cloud sync, project geometry and supported attachments, including reference photos, saved capture data, tracking maps, design images and 3D models, are stored in your private Firebase account. Files you explicitly export or share are controlled by the destination you choose.

3. Device Permissions

• Camera: Used for LiDAR scanning, optional silent scan video, and reference photos you choose to capture
• Location: Used for compass alignment and optional GPS coordinates

4. Subscription Information

• Subscription status and tier
• Subscription expiry date
• Signed Apple purchase and renewal records, original transaction identifiers, and an account token used to verify subscription access

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide floor plan creation and management features
• Authenticate and manage your account
• Sync your data across devices
• Manage subscriptions and premium features
• Improve the app through analytics
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-Party Service Providers

• Google (Firebase): Authentication, private project database and attachment storage, backend account services, and app analytics
• Apple: Apple Sign-In, legacy CloudKit project storage and import, StoreKit payments, and signed subscription notifications

We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

Data Security

We implement security measures including encryption, access controls, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and data
• Ask about analytics information associated with your account
• Export your data

Use Account → Delete Account in the app or web workspace to request account removal. The service locks writes and retries removal of the account, cloud projects, supported attachments and subscription bindings. The initiating iPhone also removes its local projects and recordings. Other devices remove local data after they confirm the deletion; offline copies may remain until then. A deletion completion marker is retained to prevent old sessions from recreating deleted data. Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store subscription or remove files you already exported to other apps.

Children's Privacy

FloorPlanPro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be stored on servers outside your country (Firebase uses Google Cloud, CloudKit uses Apple servers). The providers process this data using their service infrastructure and security controls.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
